🥘 Ingredients

whole fish (trout, sea bream, sea bass, crucian carp, etc.) — 2 (about 1 lb each)
oil — 2 tbsp (30 ml)
½ lemon (juice) — 1 tbsp (15 ml)
garlic powder — 1 tsp (5 g)
onion flakes — 1 tsp (5 g)
dried thyme — 1 tsp (5 g)
sweet paprika — ½ tsp (2.5 g)
salt — ½ tsp (3 g)
pepper — ½ tsp (2.5 g)

👨‍🍳 Steps

1Clean the fish thoroughly under cold water. If desired, remove the head and tail. Pat it completely dry with paper towels.
2In a small bowl, mix the oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion flakes, dried thyme, sweet paprika, salt, and pepper. Using a pastry brush, coat the fish inside and out with this mixture.
3For deeper flavor, cover the fish with plastic wrap and let it marinate at room temperature for 15–20 minutes.
4Preheat the air fryer basket to 200°C (400°F) for 3 minutes. Once hot, carefully place the seasoned fish in the basket.
5Cook at 200°C (400°F) for 15 minutes. For extra crispy skin, turn the fish and cook for another 5 minutes.
6Serve hot with rice, potatoes, or a fresh green salad.
