🥘 Ingredients

crescent roll dough (8-count, Pillsbury or ready-made) — 1
brown sugar — 1/3 cup (65 g)
butter, melted — 1/3 cup (75 g)
raisins (optional) — 1/4 cup (35 g)
nuts (pecan or walnuts), chopped — 1/3 cup (35 g)
maple syrup — 2 tablespoons (30 ml)
white sugar — 2 tablespoons (25 g)
ground cinnamon — 1 tablespoon
oil spray for greasing pan

👨‍🍳 Steps

1Mix melted butter, brown sugar, and maple syrup in a bowl.
2Place a trivet in the air fryer basket and set a greased 8-inch (20 cm) springform pan on it.
3Pour the brown sugar mixture into the pan. Sprinkle nuts and raisins on top.
4Unroll the crescent dough without stretching. Place on a cutting board and cut in half, then into halves again to get 8 equal pieces.
5Mix white sugar with cinnamon. Dip the ends of each dough piece into the mixture.
6Place pieces in the pan, sugar-cinnamon side up.
7Cook at 345°F (173°C) on air crisp/air fryer mode for 5 minutes.
8Open and flip each piece sugar-side down.
9Cook for another 4 minutes (or 5 for crispier) at the same temperature.
10Remove pan immediately, place buns on a plate, and pour remaining sauce from pan over them. Serve warm!
