🥘 Ingredients

can (300 g) canned corn, drained — 1 (10.6 oz)
large egg — 1
flour — 3 tablespoons
green onions, sliced — 2
garlic clove, minced — 1
teaspoon freshly grated ginger — 1
teaspoon sambal oelek (to taste) — 1
tablespoon sweet soy sauce (kecap manis) — 1
Salt and pepper to taste
tablespoon oil (for brushing) — 1

👨‍🍳 Steps

11. In a bowl, mash the drained corn with a fork or immersion blender, leaving some kernels whole for a crunchy texture.
22. Add the egg, flour, green onions, garlic, ginger, sambal oelek, sweet soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until a firm batter forms.
33. Using a spoon, drop dollops of batter onto a work surface. Gently flatten them to ensure even cooking in the air fryer.
44. Preheat the air fryer to 180°C (350°F).
55. Lightly brush the tops of the fritters with oil for a nice golden color.
66. Carefully place the fritters in the air fryer basket. Cook for 10–12 minutes, turning halfway, until golden and crispy.
