mahi mahi fillets — 450-700 g (1-1.5 lbs)
olive oil — 2 tablespoons
panko breadcrumbs — 2 cups (about 200g)
paprika — 1 teaspoon
garlic powder — 1/2 teaspoon
onion powder — 1/2 teaspoon
salt — 1/2 teaspoon
black pepper — 1/2 teaspoon
lemon wedges (for serving, optional)
cooking oil spray

👨‍🍳 Steps

1Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (400°F).
2If the mahi mahi fillets are wet, pat them dry with paper towels.
3Place the fillets on a large plate and brush or drizzle with olive oil, ensuring all sides are coated.
4In a shallow bowl, mix together panko breadcrumbs, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
5Take each fillet and press it into the breadcrumb mixture, coating evenly on all sides.
6Place the breaded fillets in a single layer in the air fryer basket, without touching each other.
7Spray generously with cooking oil spray.
8Cook for 12-15 minutes, turning the fillets halfway through and spraying the other side with oil spray, until golden and flaky.
