🥘 Ingredients
white fish (cod, pollock or haddock) — 200 g (7 oz)
breadcrumbs (or panko) — 40 g (1/3 cup)
all-purpose flour — 2 tablespoons
egg — 1
sweet paprika — 1/2 teaspoon
olive oil — 1 tablespoon
black pepper — to taste
salt — to taste
👨🍳 Steps
1Cut the fish fillet into sticks about 3 cm wide. Pat them dry with paper towels.
2Set up a breading station: place flour on a plate, beaten egg in a small bowl, and in another bowl mix breadcrumbs with paprika, salt and pepper.
3Coat each fish piece first in flour (shake off excess), then in egg, and finally in the seasoned breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere evenly.
4Preheat the Air Fryer to 200°C (400°F). Arrange the fish sticks in a single layer in the basket, lightly spray or drizzle with olive oil for extra crispiness.
5Air fry for 8–10 minutes, turning halfway, until golden and cooked through. Serve immediately.
