medium head cauliflower — 1 (about 2 lbs / 900 g)
olive oil — 2 tablespoons (30 ml)
smoked paprika — 1 teaspoon (2 g)
salt — 1 teaspoon (5 g)
garlic powder — 1/2 teaspoon (1.5 g)
black pepper to taste
grated Parmesan (optional, for serving)

👨‍🍳 Steps

1Cut the cauliflower into equal-sized florets (about 1.5 inches / 4 cm) for even cooking.
2Dry the florets thoroughly with a paper towel – this helps them become crispy.
3In a large bowl, toss the florets with olive oil, smoked paprika, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper until evenly coated.
4Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
5Place the seasoned florets in a single layer in the air fryer basket – do not overcrowd (work in batches if needed).
6Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 14–16 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even browning.
7If using Parmesan, sprinkle half over the florets before cooking, and the remaining half immediately after removing from the air fryer.
