🥘 Ingredients

large catfish fillets (thawed) — 3 (about 1.5 lbs / 680 g)
large egg — 1
cup (60 g) breadcrumbs — 1/2 (about 2 oz / 60 g)
cup (30 g) all-purpose flour — 1/4 (about 1 oz / 30 g)
cup (30 g) grated Parmesan — 1/4 (about 1 oz / 30 g)
teaspoon salt — 1
teaspoon black pepper — 1/2
small lemon (for juice) — 1

👨‍🍳 Steps

1Rinse the catfish fillets and pat them dry with paper towels.
2In a bowl, beat the egg. In another bowl, mix breadcrumbs, flour, salt, pepper, and grated Parmesan.
3Dip each fillet in the egg, then coat well with the breadcrumb mixture. Shake off excess.
4Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (400°F) for 5 minutes. Lightly spray the basket with cooking oil.
5Place the fillets in the basket in a single layer without overlapping.
6Cook for a total of 15 minutes, adjusting time based on fillet thickness. Turn them halfway through.
7Remove when the fish flakes easily with a fork (internal temperature 63°C / 145°F).
8Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top and serve with tartar sauce.
