Crispy Air Fryer Avocado Fries

🥘 Ingredients

ripe avocado — 1 (about 200g)
all-purpose flour — 25 g (3 tbsp)
egg — 1 large
panko breadcrumbs — 60 g (1/2 cup)
chili flakes — 1/2 tsp
black pepper — to taste
salt — to taste
olive oil spray — as needed

👨‍🍳 Steps

1Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and slice into about 12 pieces.
2Prepare three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten egg, and one with panko breadcrumbs mixed with salt, pepper, and chili flakes. Coat each avocado piece first in flour, then in egg, and finally in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing to adhere.
3Preheat the air fryer to 190°C (375°F) for a few minutes.
4Lightly spray the breaded avocado pieces with olive oil spray, then air fry for 10 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden and crispy.
