1Grate fresh ginger until you have 2 teaspoons of grated ginger.
2Crush the 3 garlic cloves.
3In a bowl, mix all sauce ingredients (teriyaki, hoisin, soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger). Stir until sugar dissolves.
4Add salmon to the bowl and turn to coat all sides with sauce. Cover with plastic wrap and marinate for at least 20 minutes.
5Place marinated salmon in the air fryer at 200°C (400°F) and cook for about 12 minutes.
6Meanwhile, pour remaining marinade into a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Stir occasionally until thickened (3-4 minutes), then set aside.
7Remove salmon from air fryer and brush with the boiled teriyaki sauce.
8Optional: Sprinkle sesame seeds and sliced green onion for garnish.
