1Wash and dry the peppers. Place them in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space for air circulation.
2Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (400°F) for 5 minutes.
3Roast the peppers at 200°C (400°F) for 15 minutes.
4Turn the peppers over and roast for another 15 minutes at 200°C (400°F) (total 30 minutes).
5Remove the hot peppers and place them in a pot. Sprinkle salt over them, cover tightly, and let them steam for 15-20 minutes – this makes peeling easier.
6Peel the peppers with fingers dipped in cold water. Do not rinse under cold water, as you lose flavor. Use in salads, spreads, or other dishes.
