Air Fryer Parmesan Crusted Chicken

🥘 Ingredients

large chicken breasts (halved) — 2 (about 1 lb / 450g)
mayonnaise — 5 tablespoons
minced garlic — 1/2 teaspoon
Panko breadcrumbs — 3/4 cup (about 75g)
grated Parmesan cheese — 1/4 cup (about 25g)
salt — 1 pinch
pepper — 1 pinch

👨‍🍳 Steps

1In a small bowl, mix Panko breadcrumbs with grated Parmesan, a pinch of salt, and a pinch of pepper.
2In another bowl, combine mayonnaise with minced garlic.
3Rinse chicken breasts and pat dry with paper towels.
4Coat each chicken piece with the mayonnaise mixture, then roll in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
5Preheat air fryer to 200°C (400°F) for 5 minutes. Lightly spray the basket with cooking spray.
6Place chicken pieces in a single layer in the basket (cook in batches if needed) and air fry for 6-7 minutes per side, until golden and crispy.
7Check internal temperature with a meat thermometer; it should reach 74°C (165°F) in the thickest part. Let rest 2 minutes before serving.
