🥘 Ingredients

unsalted butter, at room temperature — 110 g (8 tbsp)
brown sugar, firmly packed — 125 g (1/2 cup plus 2 tbsp)
granulated sugar — 50 g (1/4 cup)
large egg — 1
vanilla extract — 1 tsp
all-purpose flour — 190 g (1 1/2 cups)
baking soda — 1 tsp
salt — 1 tsp
semi-sweet chocolate, chopped — 175 g (1 cup)

👨‍🍳 Steps

1Preheat the air fryer to 190°C (375°F).
2In a large bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar with a hand mixer or a sturdy spoon until creamy.
3Add the vanilla extract and egg, then mix until well combined.
4Gradually incorporate the flour, baking soda, and salt, mixing just until the dough forms – be careful not to overmix.
5Fold in the chocolate chunks with a spatula, using only a few strokes to keep the dough tender.
6Lightly grease a 15 cm (6-inch) round springform pan or a pan suitable for the air fryer with a little cooking oil.
7Press half of the cookie dough evenly into the pan; reserve the other half for another use.
8Place the pan in the air fryer basket and bake for 10 minutes.
9Let the cookie cake cool in the pan for about 5 minutes after removing from the air fryer.
10Carefully remove the cake from the pan, top with vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of chocolate syrup if desired, and serve warm.
