🥘 Ingredients

boneless skinless chicken breasts (medium size) — 3 pieces (about 1.5 lbs / 680g)
large eggs — 2
breadcrumbs — 1/4 cup (30g)
grated Parmesan cheese — 1/4 cup (25g)
onion powder — 1/2 teaspoon
Italian seasoning — 1/2 teaspoon
garlic powder — 1/2 teaspoon
marinara sauce — 1/2 cup (120ml)
shredded mozzarella cheese — 1/2 cup (60g)

👨‍🍳 Steps

1In a bowl, beat the eggs until frothy. In another bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder.
2Dip each chicken breast into the beaten eggs, then into the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to adhere. Shake off excess.
3Lightly grease the air fryer basket with nonstick cooking spray and place the chicken pieces in a single layer without touching.
4Cook at 180°C (350°F) for 15-18 minutes, until golden and cooked through (time depends on thickness).
5Open the air fryer and spoon a tablespoon of marinara sauce onto each chicken breast, then sprinkle shredded mozzarella on top.
6Cook for another 2 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
7Sprinkle with extra Italian seasoning if desired and serve immediately.
