🥘 Ingredients

warm water — 60 ml (1/4 cup)
sugar — 1.5 tablespoons (22g)
active dry yeast — 1.25 teaspoons (4g)
warm milk — 60 ml (1/4 cup)
salt — 1/2 teaspoon
vegetable oil — 1 tablespoon
all-purpose flour — 1.5 cups (190g)
melted butter — 1 tablespoon

👨‍🍳 Steps

1In a medium bowl, mix warm water with sugar and active dry yeast. Let stand for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
2Add warm milk and stir. Then add salt and vegetable oil, mixing well. Gradually incorporate flour, about half a cup at a time, until a dough ball forms.
3Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5 minutes. Place in an oiled bowl, turning to coat completely.
4Cover the bowl with a thick towel and let the dough rise for about 1 hour, until doubled in volume. Punch it down gently and knead for another minute.
5Divide the dough in two and shape each piece into a small loaf. Place in small greased loaf pans. Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes, until the dough rises about 1 inch above the pan rim.
6Brush each loaf with melted butter. Place the pans in the air fryer basket. Bake at 165°C (330°F) for 12 minutes.
7Remove the loaves and let them cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
