Ingredients:

  • 130g (4.5oz) chocolate chips;
  • 160ml (5.5fl oz) single cream, divided;
  • 60g (2oz) cold butter, cut into pieces;
  • ¼ tsp salt;
  • 4 tbsp baking powder;
  • 115g (4oz) plain flour;
  • 4 tbsp cocoa powder.

Instructions:

  1.  In a bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Cut in the butter with a pastry blender until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  2. Add half of the cream gradually, just enough to moisten the dough. Knead lightly until a smooth ball forms.
  3. Roll the dough into 12 equal portions and shape into balls.
  4. Place doughnut holes on parchment paper in the air fryer basket. Cook at 350°F for about 8 minutes or until they puff up. Repeat if necessary.
  5. Heat the remaining cream in a small pot until warm. Remove from heat and stir in the chocolate chips until smooth.
  6. Dip or drizzle the warm doughnut holes with melted chocolate and serve.
