Ingredients

  • 4 slices of bread
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons jelly or jam (your favorite flavor)
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened

Instructions

  1. Spread 1 tablespoon of peanut butter on one side of each of two slices of bread.
  2. Spread 1 tablespoon of jelly or jam on one side of each of the other two slices of bread.
  3. Press one peanut butter slice and one jelly slice together to form a sandwich, ensuring the peanut butter and jelly are on the inside. Repeat with the remaining slices.
  4. Spread a thin layer of softened butter on the outside of each sandwich, on both sides.
  5. Preheat your air fryer to 370°F (185°C) for about 3 minutes.
  6. Place the sandwiches in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to cook them in batches.
  7. Air fry the sandwiches for 4-5 minutes, flipping halfway through the cooking time, until the bread is golden brown and crispy.
  8. Remove the sandwiches from the air fryer and let them cool slightly before cutting in half and serving.
