  • Total Time: 20 Minutes
  • Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • Honey mustard
  • 35g (1.2oz) crushed cornflakes
  • 2 eggs
  • 65g (2.3oz) plain flour
  • 12x (15cm) wooden skewers
  • 2x American-style beef hot dogs

Instructions

  1. Cut hot dogs in half lengthwise, then cut each half into 3 pieces. Insert a toothpick into one end of each piece.
  2. You’ll need 3 shallow bowls: In the first, put flour; in the second, beat eggs; in the third, put crushed cornflakes.
  3. Roll hot dog pieces in flour, shaking off excess. Dip in egg, allowing excess to drip off. Dredge in cornflakes, pressing to adhere.
  4. Lightly spray air fryer basket with vegetable oil cooking spray.
  5. Arrange crunchy hot dog bites in the basket (you may need to work in batches).
  6. Cook at 380°F (190°C), turning halfway through, until coating is crunchy, about 10 minutes.
  7. Serve with honey mustard.
