These bite-sized treats are perfect for parties, game days, or a quick snack. Cooking them in the air fryer ensures they are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with minimal grease.

Ingredients:

– 1 pound ground sausage (mild or spicy); – 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese; – 1 1/2 cups Bisquick baking mix; – 1/4 cup milk; – 1 teaspoon garlic powder; – 1/2 teaspoon onion powder; – 1/2 teaspoon paprika; – Optional: dipping sauce (ranch, honey mustard, or marinara).

Instructions:

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground sausage, shredded cheddar cheese, Bisquick baking mix, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated. 2. Preheat your air fryer to 370°F (190°C). While the air fryer is heating, form the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a plate or baking sheet.

Instructions:

3. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with non-stick cooking spray. Place the sausage balls in the basket in a single layer, ensuring they are not touching each other.  4. Cook the sausage balls for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time to ensure even browning. The sausage balls should be golden brown and cooked through.

Instructions:

5. Remove the sausage balls from the air fryer and let them cool slightly before serving. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce if desired.
